The invoice rate is inked ochre only when the intraday high actually lifts it above the official best. Where the two agree it is the same published figure, so it is not marked.

The token is never stored

The cron fills the Bank of Canada and ECB figures and tries Wise for the intraday high. Banxico is always entered by hand, whenever the DOF table publishes. A manual entry survives every later run. Only a month already in the ledger can be amended; a blank field leaves that figure untouched — each placeholder shows what is stored there now.
